Have I really not posted anything since July 23?? Shame on me! Aaron's fan club needs much more frequent updates, and I will be back on track soon! It's been CA-razy busy here lately (with lots of good stuff...no worries!) and I will share all that Aaron has been up to in the very near future.
But because my little man makes me laugh every day, I felt the need to share a quick installment in the series I call, "Aaron's Aantics":
I LOVE to sing in the car. This doesn't mean I am good...it just means that I enjoy it. Even if no one else in the car does.
Yesterday afternoon we were driving to an appointment and I was belting it out. In the rear view mirror I saw Aaron at first laughing, and then sporting an almost horrified look. (In my defense, I was singing "Love on Top"...who (besides Beyonce) could handle that range??)
So, I decided to ask him some questions...I just LOVE that he can now consistently answer "yes" or "no" with his eyes. I am really getting the chance to see what goes on in that handsome little head, and it's pretty incredible!
I asked if he liked the song.
He replied in the affirmative.
I asked if he likes Beyonce.
He DEFINITELY replied in the affirmative.
I asked if Mama sings better than Beyonce.
That was a big old NEGATORY. And to add insult to injury, he laughed hysterically about it for the next minute or so.
Thanks, kid. I love you too!
(*Please note that the sarcastic "Thanks, kid." is not at all serious. I ADORE that Aaron has opinions and want to hear them whether I agree or not...I'm also pretty proud of his ear for music because he is 100% right. I couldn't sing better than Beyonce in my wildest dreams.)
